Reflection and Review
1. State whether the characteristics of a quality lesson were present for all students in your elementary physical education classes as a child.
For myself, a quality lesson was present when I was in physical education classes as a child in elementary school. It may have been presented that way as I was an active person in my own right. Probably more than a lot of people in my class. With that being said, it was not evident that any special treatment was given to those of better performance levels or ignorance towards the students who didn’t know or perform a certain activity as well as somebody else.
2. Using teacher talk, list five meaningful feedback statements. Use statements other than those presented in the chapter, and discuss why your statements are meaningful.
A. “Great job everyone! Continue keeping your head up when handling the ball.”
i. This a meaningful statement to use because it keeps everyone involved encouraged to keep doing well. A small improvement comment could be given to any one or more students to improve a small deficiency
B. “Way to go [ENTER STUDENT’S NAME]! You have improved your free-throw a lot since last class. I can tell you’ve been practicing.”

For example, lacrosse may be a little more popular in one area of the country than another. So attempting to teach the skills and bringing something new to the students who aren’t familiar to it could be good. Also by incorporating co-ed classes could bode well in the classroom because it’ll show students that everyone is certainly created equally to an extent.
