What is a guide to a successful business or successful life? However you choose to explore this question, I believe it starts with an individual’s ethical code of conduct. There are many professional, ethical codes of conducts. However, your personal code of conduct is the first guide to how well you adhere to your professional code of conduct. What does “code of conduct” mean? Focus on religious laws, honors, moral codes, and ethics. A code of conduct is a set of rules outlining the social norms and rules and responsibilities of, or proper practices for, an individual, party or organization (
A Code
A code is a communication or publishing of how we operate on a personal level and professional level ( Although the two may not differ much, I view personal and professional codes separately. In either setting, visible guidelines of behavior are provided on how we deal with matters of commitment to ourselves and others on our jobs and in our community; complementing relevant standards, polices, and rules. A code gives origin to a code of conduct.
A code of conduct is beneficial to setting a standard for progress within in a relationship ( (Driscoll, Dawn-Marie and W. Michael Hoffman). It helps guide your mind to think respectively about how you want to represent yourself to society as an individual or within a group.
