The film was based on a young teenager named Telly and a girl named Jenny. Throughout the movie it shows how Telly just thinks about taking young girls virginity when it seems like he has no clue he is HIV positive. In the other hand Jennie, a girl who had a sex with Telly last summer agrees to go get tested in order to be more of a support system towards her friend who has been more sexually active. To their surprise It turns out she is HIV positive who has only had sex with one guy which was Telly. While the friend who has had many more men in her life was nothing but clean. First of all I did not like the ending because I thought Jennie was looking for Telly all along to tell him that he is HIV positive. Which I thought the whole purpose of that was for him to stop having sex with other girls. But no she just got there, saw Telly on having sex with some girl closed the door and slept in a coach. I was disappointed I thought Jennie would stop Telly from having sex with that girl but instead she did nothing. Furthermore, that was not the only thing I disliked I also thought that Telly’s mom was was not even close to a normal, responsible, respecting, mother. For example, that scene when Telly and Casper went to his house, it showed Tellys mom literally feeding her youngest child with all her breast out while both Telly and his friend were still there. To me that shows no respect in other words you are not suppose to show your breast to your kids friend or your older son. I felt like Telly’s mom was anything but responsible towards her kid it clearly shows how attend she was on him. Crooklyn is a movie about a Black family in the heart of Brooklyn battling several outside factors to raise their children properly and have a functional family. Like any child, the family’s five children are malleable, being molded by their environment. It is the parent’s job to ensure that their children have the proper morals and values instilled in them. The family may not be rich, but they are more fortunate that other families on their block, which makes the other children envy Troy, who is the main character. One important scene in the film ‘The Age of Aids’ is “Port Au Prince, Haiti”. In this scene it outlines the conditions in Haiti, which were very poor and it turn left the city defenseless against the new disease. In 70’s and 80’s the disease began to be seen by doctors and priests who were being sought after to cure a unseen disease which left the people with the “look of death, [making them] so skinny you could see their bones”. The scene then goes on to take a look at one of the first HIV clinics in Port Au Prince, which was opened in the roughest parts of town. One of the surprising things that this clinic found when they were looking at the patients coming in was that the mean they were analyzing had more contact with women then they had with men. This was extremely interesting because this was completely different from what the pattern of the disease had been in the US. The doctors believed this was because homosexual males had been coming into Haiti as tourists and where having sex with locals, who in comparison didn’t call themselves homosexuals because even though they had been having sex with men, the number of women they were having sex with greatly outnumbered the men. This was extremely important because it allowed people to open their eyes, and realize that this was not a homosexual disease, that anyone could get the disease. And that’s exactly what happened within the Haitian community. Within three years the disease had spread across the entire island effects all aspects of society. For this assignment, the movie “The Help” was chosen to review and analyze because it presents a story of fighting injustice through diverse ways. The three main characters of the movie are Eugenia “Skeeter” Phelan, a young white woman, Aibileen Clark, and Minny Jackson, two colored maids. Throughout the story, we follow these three women as they are brought together to record colored maids’ stories about their experiences working for the white families of Jackson. The movie explores the social inequalities such as racism and segregation between African Americans and whites during the 1960s in Jackson, Mississippi.

The Coen brothers develop this claim by manipulating the traditional characteristics of a Western film in order to create an anti-Western through which they depict the hopelessness of humanity within the current state of society. Through their use of mechanics such as innovative camera angles, sound manipulation and editing the film adaptation successfully portrays the immorality of society as an abyss of depraved humanity.
In the movie “And the Band Played On”, illustrated the origin of the AIDS virus, how it was spread across the world quickly. It began with a scene in 1976, Central Africa, shows how the Ebola disease affected a village and was contained before it was spread. This was to show the beginning of another serious disease called AIDS. The world was not prepared to handle such a contagious plague. Doctors treating people with this virus thought that the first cases of the HIV virus was just an abnormality disease. The disease started to spread all over, especially gay men. Throughout the movie, I was able to see different points, such as the beginning of AIDS, the misconceptions it had, and the anguish it brought to the doctors as well as people around the world.

This movie took place in Macon County, Alabama. Miss Evers Boys was a picture to let people know that there was help in the Negro community and they had people on their side back in the 1970’s. Miss Evers thought studying the Negro community and not treating was a bad idea. As this thought was brought up, this was valid point because the health profession is supposed to help and not treated as a research. Flying a plane can be an interesting hobby, or so I have heard. I am actually looking to become a pilot because being up in the air is fascinating to me. When something that you enjoy is crossed with a salary, and that salary is too low to make a living then problems are bound to start. I am one to believe that pilots make an outstanding wage, but of course I have seen horror stories about pilots being overworked and underpaid. The movie Capitalism: A Love Story seems to make this statement very clear. In this movie some of the people interviewed said they made $19,000 to $23,000 a year.
