That you lead. I do you agree with the idea there is a difference between leadership and management because, I am a leader. A leader is a person who has a positive influence on individuals.

A manager is a position you are responsible for duties and rules to following guild lines. Not all managers are leaders. I worked as a manger at a telephone company and I really was not good at all. I think that I got the position because of my ability to calm irate customers down, explain the policy, and make great deals within the means of the company but, I didn’t have the skills to lead the people that I managed.

The role that best identifies my Manager is the Leadership Role, she is a Principal in a middle school where it is considered to be an at risk school district. Even though she is in a type of management position, she is also a leader, and I believe that you have to be a little bit of both in order to do the job that she does daily, I would not like to trade with her.

She is obligated to delegate project once a month and any time she gives us that project/assignment she is in charge of it, she actually does research with us she believes in herself. ... Our board consists of nine members who all live in this great city. The focus is our students and parents they are number one priority. However, the question asked is they all leaders.

Well let me explain to you in my opinion why they are not. I have been working for this school district for at eleven years in March and we have had nine Superintendents three Principals at the high school and two Human Resource directors.

If their interest is the student, why is it that we the staff in 7 schools are unhappy and unmotivated? The school district is an at risk school district and I feel that incompetent people are in charge of the school so are they leaders, not in my opinion. However, what I do believe is if an organization is successful, that is because of effective leadership but it is hard to measure when you have a great staff.
