Many people see the D.C. comics hero Batman as another hero, but he is differs from the others in many ways. One main difference is that he is a normal human. He does not have any powers to make him special. He makes himself into a creature that criminals would fear by using is past to fuel his actions. He is one of the only heroes in the D.C. universe to hold a personal life. He is a CEO of Wayne Industries a company his family started. He is a millionaire playboy by day, but at night he is a caped vigilante. It all started with Bruce as a child. When is parents brought him to an opera. Bruce became ill and asked his parents to leave early. While they were leaving a mugger approached them and demanded their money and jewelry. His father grabbed for the gun to protect his family getting shot in the process. His mother tried to protect her husband also getting shot and killed. Bruce went through his life blaming himself for their deaths. This anger fuels his vengeance to right the wrongs and clean up Gotham city.
