Our group was really just disagreeing on which topic to go with. On that first day Alberto and I went with the topic over gun malfunctions in the military, while the two girls in our group went with the one that involved crime scene photos. After the group discussion on Friday I talked to Alberto and he said that he was still going to do the gun malfunctions in the military, so I was still going to do it too. The girls thought that it would be too hard to find anything about it and they just honestly didn’t even want to try. So once again I was in a group in which no one could agree or even get anywhere with the discussion.
I believe that malfunctions should be reported publicly. If the government is so scared of the enemy getting a hold of this information about them malfunctioning then I believe that they should do something about it instead of just complaining. I really didn’t realize how many people have complained about their gun malfunctioning during war until now. In Vietnam it was recorded that roughly 80% of soldier’s guns malfunctioned on them in the heat of the battle. This could be a major problem because in Iraq it was even worse than this.
These malfunctions could mean life and death for soldiers’. The malfunctions are not only a cartridge jamming, but overheating, and getting san and dust in them. I think that the media should be able to report this. We as Americans should be allowed to know what is happening in war. Mothers want to know why their babies are dying, and it’s their right to know.
It could even spark someone else’s interest to help further the technology to prevent these malfunctions if it is advertised by media. Or if the government really doesn’t want it out then they can always switch the weapons thy use and then the enemy wouldn’t know that you switched weapons.
I honestly don’t believe that the enemy can really do anything with the information about these malfunctions but further their own technology, but at the same time America should be trying to further its own. So the Government should want to have these malfunctions on the media. Maybe they should make an article themselves about how they need bright young minds to help them create better weapons and also help the soldiers stay protected.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, four airplanes were hijacked and two of them, brought the collapse of the World Trade Center towers in New York City. As a result of these attacks on the United States, airports have come to the realization that the only way to prevent another hijacking is by strengthening the security on aircrafts through the cockpit. In order to secure the cockpit and ensure the safety of the passengers on board, guns were introduced as a possible solution in the event of an emergency situation like those that took place in September of 2001.
The petition states that: “First, these weapons must be re-classified as lethal. This is not only accurate, but it ensures that these weapons are used only in situations that would otherwise justify the use of lethal force.”
There are advances happening with non lethal weapons that could change the future. The reasons for the use of non lethal weapons grow with every day. Effects or injuries of these so called “non lethal weapons” is making them more lethal than non lethal. Non lethal weapons are advancing and by this advancement it is making them more lethal than non lethal, but these weapons are also serving a purpose.
As such, because the possibility of a user of the defective GWM2 units being electrocuted is realistic, there is a strong chance that the world will become aware that this company’s engineers approved of the exportation of a product that is dangerous to the public. As previously stated, the safety of the public is of the utmost importance in the Engineering Code of Ethics, so if a company’s engineers were caught not prioritizing safety in certain countries, it would be shamed globally. Regardless of whether the countries’ individual laws governing electrical wiring codes are existent or enforceable, this would still be a devastating blow to the company’s reputation. In addition, this damage to the business’s stature would ultimately result in a major profit-loss over the long term as well. Once the world discovers that this company provided customers with a dangerous product, many people will be much less inclined to purchase any of their future products. Imagine that one morning there is breaking news that the U. S. Capitol has just been attacked by a missile strike. The information is plastered on every station, and there's pictures showing Washington D. C. Leveled to the ground. All of this just because in the past few years the U. S. Government tried to develop a defense system to quickly, and for that reason they didn't have adequate tests to determine whether or not the system would work. Furthermore, they wouldn't have been attacked had it not been for them trying to develop this system. Every day, this threat is becoming more of a possibility to the United States. Since this could happen, the U. S. Government shouldn't deploy their defense system unless they conduct further, more realistic tests.
Imagine receiving the news that a loved one or someone you care about has had a tragic or a unfortunate accident as a result of a gun; this can happen to anyone in the reach of a weapon. Misuse of Guns in America is an irresponsibility of people misusing and abusing the authority of a gun. Americans in the U.S buy and obtain guns all the time. Of course, there are background checks done for the people purchasing them, but who knows what that person will do with a weapon this present day, and that does not mean the will be the only one who uses it. The rate of guns being misused by irresponsible people in America is not safe for U.S citizens.
This just shows that either the Feed wasn't built very securely or the corporations need to do a better job taking care of potential threats on civilians. It also helps put into perspective how little the corporation's care considering how long it took for everyone at the hospital to be checked to make sure that there feeds where ok. An additional Consequence is a new form of getting high called “Malfunctioning”. It's really easy to Malfunctioning because it's cheap and easily accessible.
My two strengths in the profession of arms are direction and recognition. I am strong in giving directions because I am very detailed and specific in giving orders (KAI-theory). Giving good directions in relation to deliberate leadership will help in providing subordinates a well thought out plan to further develop them into future leaders. My methodical approach discovered in the Team Dimension Profile will also be a great benefit when trying to develop a step by step plan. When I provide directions for a task or plan I try not to assume people already know things especially if it is something new or haven't been discussed in awhile. I also give my subordinates the opportunity to ask questions and ensure they fully understand the task before exiting the conversation. I also believe it is important to recognize your people. Recognizing your people in relation to deliberate leadership will help to motivate and encourage subordinates in their journey as the strive to reach their goals. I have worked hard this past year to put my people in for awards and programs. Recognizing your people shows that you acknowledge and appreciate their contributions to the organization.

Guns are bad. People know that. Every day we are hearing news about killing people with gun but no one doing nothing about this because guns are easy to use it and many people have guns even some children have too. We can replace this guns with other tools because this tools are not easy to use and many people can’t figure it out how to use this tools. For example I saw one car accident.
I’m tired, a little stressed and disappointed with some of the group members this week. This has been the most challenging time in group so far. Everything is usually fine, but something is off this week. Although, we have group chats, our group cohesion is off. After, deciding to do the outline one way, we ended up doing it another way. That was cool until individuals brought the confusion. One person thought this way, the other thought that way. It was a mess. Our group dynamics were all over the place. The impact this had on me was very negative. With your help Mrs. Evans, we eventually decided to keep the outline simple. The other group members picked their duties, while mine were assigned to me. It did not bother me that I was assigned duties. Actually, my absence from the meeting helped to decide what I was to do. When it comes to the norming and forming of this group, I find myself at a loss for words. The norming process is off. There is less cohesion than usual; we have not been as effect this week. Also, relationships do not seem to be strengthening. This makes me angry because it affects us all. Unlike the norming stage, the forming stage is pretty solid. All of us are comfortable (in my opinion) giving our opinions, and we understand what is required of us. There is no need to form rules they are already in place. In my opinion, some of the members did not follow the rules. I for one broke a rule.
