The recent release of apple's 2009 10k form show that apple earned 6.7 billion (20.7 million units) solely from iphones sales (charles jade the apple blog). It has been rumored that there will be an upgrade in 2010 and additions of thousands of apps this will reflect greatly on its success for the 2010 fiscal year.
