Foods and Etiquette of the World Many cultures eat strange foods because that is what they can find or kill. There are many different foods in the world, and There are also many different acceptable ways of eating them. »Every food is unique and delicious in it own way.« ~ Hannah Grange The great United States of America has a litte bit of everything in it. In America the food is generally not as healthy as China's rice, but that depends on what you are eating. There are burgers and fries with a large Coke at almost every restaurant in the U.S. There is many different countries.The customs of the United States' vary. In most households they are very lenient and don't get bent out of shape if you don't do exactly what they are doing or eating all of your food they made for you. They might find it rude if you slurp your pasta or chew with you mouth open. Unlike the United States, in China it perfectly fine to slurp you noodles. It is even considered a compliment to the chef to do so. It is said that the slurping improves the flavor. In China pasta and rice are very popular and the people eat them with chopsticks. Some people who live in China prefer a fork or spoon for some cuisine but most like to use chopsticks for everything. In China it is considered rude to eat all of the food on your plate.
