In life, we need to understand we are going to make mistakes. That is who we are. We are not perfect, we are humans. As we grow, we experience different circumstances that will make us think and ask questions to our decisions. We are what we think we are, not what other people think. It does not matter what we are doing, or feel, it is determined by what we think. When we think negative, this will lead to disappointments. Being negative will deny you of many recognition of many things, instead of the positive mentality, and be able to rejoice. Regardless of where you are or who you are with, work and life will always be about making the right decision. Some of the decision can be life determining. When you make rational decision, you will live a rational life. They can maximize the quality of your life. It can be the chances of your happiness and a successful life. Critical thinking can improved the way you think. I use three methods. The first one is thinking more clearly. I believe that you have to have a vision of your goal and dreams. That is the rational thinking. You have to know what you want out of live and picture it. Have a clear understanding of the skills that you want to manage before you get to the goal. The second one will be, how to use your mind to achieve your goal. The best thing is to surround yourself with positive individuals. Those individuals that have the same goals as you do or perhaps, better. It might help if you ask them for help, maybe their goals, can become yours. Finally, think how to become more effectively in your business and personal relationship. The important thing is to be a fantastic mood about everything. You cannot let anyone at work distract you from the positive mood that you have. There negatively cannot bring you

Throughout the Practical Nursing program, there has been many opportunities to closely observe working nurses in different hospitals and facilities. It also has been a great chance to grasp the general idea about professionalism in the workplace and how it can have a great impact in a successful work environment. Combining what was observed and what was learnt from the class, there were three particular aspects of professionalism that seemed to be key characteristics of professional nurses: knowledge from continuous education, autonomy, and positivity. Out of all other characteristics for professionalisms in nursing, those three were the most remarkable features found from the some of the great nurses observed from the clinical sites.
The occupations that I have chosen to analyze using the three elements for this assignment are paraprofessional, what I am currently, and a teacher, what I am going to college to become. Teachers and paraprofessionals work side by side, collaborate, plan, and share many of the same experiences. However, paraprofessionals are often not treated as equals and has created some ethical judgement regarding treatment of the paraprofessionals from other teachers and administrators in the business of education. I want to use this assignment as an opportunity to distinguish the true professional using the elements designed for this course.
Through life, one must make choices in their personal and professional lives in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Through the plays Bull, Waste, Little Eyolf, The Homecoming, and the musical Kinky Boots, it is evident that creating a distinction between one’s personal and one’s professional life is essential to living a healthy life. When one’s personal life and professional life overlap completely, trouble ensues.

Critical thinking is when an individual identifies and evaluates outside sources before making a decision. This is a very important still to learn to become an effective thinker and making educated choices. Critical thinking is fundamental when making choices, from selecting the right answer on multiple choice exams to choosing the right place and time to buy a house. An individual that has learned critical thinking is less expected to make poor choices that could potentially harm him or affect others. In theory this individual could calculate the consequences of his actions. A good critical thinker doesn’t need to memorize huge amounts of information. Instead, he asks questions, is open to alternative solutions, formulates theories,
The procedure of selecting classes is vital when it comes to college. Before enrolling in classes, students must critically think about their major requirements, university requirements, and any prerequisites they must complete. Students are held responsible for managing their time between classes and taking classes that will fulfill the requirements. As a student at San Jose State University, I am still struggling with picking classes because I would never put enough time to plan my schedule ahead of time. Therefore, my first year at San Jose State was not pleasant; I took classes that had a three or four hour gap and did not satisfy my major curriculum. According to Verlinden’s (2005) book, students must have “willingness to plan, which requires

With a good background in technical education, I was giving my best in work and the output was considerably good. I saw myself devoting much of my time towards my work and earned a reputation of being
Knowledge is generated through critical and creative thinking. Creative thinking is something new or original that is created with value. Critical thinking is a type of thinking that questions assumptions and validates or invalidates a current belief or something that is said to be previously true. “An Army leader is any one who by virtue of assumed role or assigned responsibility inspires and influences peoples to accomplish organizational goals. She or He motivates people both inside and outside the chain of command to pursue actions, focus thinking, and shape decisions for the greater good of the organization.1” But for him to do that effectively and efficiently , he has to be prepared, shaped and refined. There are few institutions to prepare such leaders and CGSC is one of those institutions which are mandated, organized and equipped to prepare such leaders. In implementing its mandate, CGSC has programmed ILE common core C 100 to provide foundations for effective leadership development. The lessons covered in this block of instructions are important pillars of leadership development and impact on officers differently depending on the fields/specialties and the level of positions held. This paper therefore attempts to discuss the relevance of critical thinking and problem solving, group decision making, overcoming biases, planning and order production lessons on my future assignment as a logistics staff officer.
