There is a variety of different things that can affect a business if it isn’t being ran the right way. Most people think running a business is a piece of cake and it isn’t because it’s a lot of work that goes into it. When running a successful business, you must make sure the right ethical decisions and approaches are being made. Ethical decisions should be made with the thought of the business in mind because everything you do affects the business in the long run. The three approaches that can lead to a successful would be duty –based ethics, outcome-based ethics, and corporate social responsibility.

It simply means when you are making decisions you are considering everyone else feeling as well. The more people that are happy with the choice being is a better route to take versus people being unhappy with a poor choice being made. If I decide something and I see that in my mind, I feel as though it 's right but it’s affecting everyone else negatively, then I would switch gears. I would do this because according to this ethical approach, the decision is only right when it produces the greatest amount of good for the greatest number. My opinion matters, but I also have to keep everyone else’s feelings in mind as well, to ensure I am taking the correct route. Personally, I work in fast food and I wanted to use McDonalds and Chick Fi-La as an example. Chick Fi-La, does many things for the community like different events etc., and their employees seem like they are nice. On the other hand, McDonalds, doesn’t partake in any events and their employees aren’t as ethical, which lead to a drop in business. Even though McDonalds is cheaper and has been around for a long time no one wants to go to a place that they felt only care about making money and getting the customers in and out. So, my business “Tavia Tables”, would groom employers to make the right decisions and treat the customers with the utmost respect. It all starts with me, so I have to make sure my job is done by ensuring my employees and customers are happy. I think that before I begin to run any business I would make sure not only myself, but my employers get the whole philosophy of the duty based ethics. I think the duty based plays a major role because it shapes the type of people you are working with and relying on daily. I would let the community and my employers know that I care about their input and try to involve them in different decisions. As far as corporate social responsibility, I would partake in different things around the community like donating to shelter’s, volunteering, and really just going that extra mile to let the people know that the
