Yuny And Renenutet Analysis

The Statue of Yuny and Renenutet is a male and female sculpture. It consist of 2 statue figures. Both figures are facing frontwards. Both statues have eyes in an almond shape figure. The couple Yuny and Renenutet are sitting down together on a bench with Renenutet right arm around Yuny shoulder. The chair of Yuny and Renenutet is a breach in which their bodies’ curves are call to attention. Both figures have their feet placed on the floor. But in front of Yuny and Renenutet feet we see inscription similar to that ones he has on his skirt.
Yuny and Renenutet have distinguish preservation within each other. Renenutet preservation is pretty well, but Yuny preservation isn’t so good. Renenutet has a crack within her bridge, but Yuny has his full nose smashed. Renenutet has her two arms, but Yuny has no arms as if they were broken. Renenutet face is partially impeccable, but Yuny eyebrows, right cheek, and lips is smashed as if it was chipped away. Renenutet also consist of chips within her dress. Meanwhile, Yuny skirt is seem to be broken on both sides of the skirt. But its preservation as a whole is pretty well. It consist of broken corners, cracks within the sculpture, and a broken edge at the end of the chair on Yuny right hand

On Renenutet left hand side, the chair is elegantly decorated giving a single perceptive. Now on the back of the chair, we see inscription around the two different scenarios. Two scenes divided into two layers with Yuny and Renenutet making or receiving an offering. In the top register, Yuny and Renenutet are receiving offers from their son. Meanwhile, in the bottom register, Renenutet is making an offering to her parents. In both registers. Yuny, Renenutet, and the other figures have a composite profile. Yuny and Renenutet are also seated on a similar chair as the one their seated in the sculpture with similar clothing. Ground lines placed under their feet, but in between the two
