Your Major Decision The decision to go to college was an easy one, however choosing a major was more difficult. Being a person that has multiple interests in several different fields, deciding on a major has been a roller coaster ride of possibilities. After months of deliberation, I decided that majoring in Computer Science is the best choice for me. If the code doesn’t make logical sense, then the program or web page will not work as intended. However, through the logic, one can create something new. Balancing work and family is a possibility working in the computer science field. Many technology companies allow their employees to work from home, giving me the freedom to work from anywhere. Computer science is a very broad field that can be applied into many other fields, for example the medical or engineering fields, which gives me the opportunity to work in other fields while still coding. In recent years, computer science majors have been in demand with the increase of technological advances and popularity.
