Ring, ring, ring. All teens know what that sound means; a cell or text. Teachers know this sound too, because they hear it in their classes every day. Some teachers think that teens shouldn’t have phones, even to help with classwork. The reasons why teens shouldn’t have phones in class is because not everyone is going to get the some data, not everyone will get the right data, and they are too dependent on them. First and foremost, why teens shouldn’t use phones to help with classwork is that not everyone will get the same data. In other words,everyone won’t use the same website. Websites can be made by anyone and because of this, not all websites have right data. To prove the point, in class one day, we had to take a test, but we could look up the answers on our phones. I used three websites to find the answers. I missed half of the questions and got an F. If I had use the textbook, i might not have gotten an F. Moreover , teens are too dependent on phones. Most teens couldn't live without phones. As an illustration, my friend bob walks home from school. He uses the GPS on his phone to find his way home. One day, when he was walking home, his phone broke. He had to walk back to the school and call his mom to come get him because his phone was broken. If he wasn’t so department on his phone, he could have just walked home on his own. Although some people believe that phones are useful because they’re little computers, this doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter because schools have computers and textbooks. Text books are better than computers anyway because most of the worksheets teachers make are from the text books.
