All schools offer sports for kids. They give these sports to kids because kids love playing sports and participating in them. However, to participate in these sports you should need at least a C in all of your classes. A person should not have less than a C because would mean either they are not trying in school and should be taken out of everything to get their grades back up or, getting help from a tutor and stopping anything extra that is not necessary.
Teaches always say to their students that sports are a privilege not a right. According to Mr. Krupp, “Athletes are "student-athletes" and should be documenting academic success and academic achievement before they have the opportunity to try-out for a team and or put on a school-sponsored …show more content…

Too many kids are not studying or starting projects when they first get them because they are letting sports take over their days or being lazy. In a article online it states, “Do assignments as soon as they are given, rather than waiting until the last minute. Assuredly, poor planning and waiting until the last minute will result in missed practices or missed games.” If the parents hear that their kid is not doing well in school they might be pulled out of the sport or missing the games.” Some kids will waste their time doing sports or other things besides work to have fun. Some kids will work on a project when they first get it and other work the last second on it. Also, if kids do not study and do well in school they will not only be ignored from sports teams/ collages and high school. On, they My Life website it states, “Did you know that many experts believe that having free time is one of the most important ways for us to learn, grow, and develop the skills we need to succeed? We all deserve a chance to just explore our world and our thoughts, and to develop our creativity and sense of fun apart from specific groups, organizations, and activities.
