Assisted suicide can be a positive and a negative resolution to a sick person who will eventually die. If someone is sick and they are feeling pain they would not want to bear the pain anymore. The moral philosophy of Aristotle would determine whether assisted suicide is right or wrong by that the fact that Aristotle would state the three elements in any moral problem. There are three different things to remember when you are making a judgment. The act itself; the consequences of that act; and the moral agent which is the person doing the act in question.

The moral philosophy of Kant would determine whether assisted suicide is right or wrong by that the fact that Kant would state that the act itself and not the outcome or results of that act or the person doing the act in question is the main element in all moral decisions. Is anyone else feeling the pain? only the person who is suffering. The choice belongs to the person who is in pain. The Utilitarians would determine that assisted suicide is right because a person should not be suffering . I agree with the Utilitarians about assisted suicide because no human being who is very sick should live with pain up until death and the positive facts about assisted suicide is that the person who is very sick can die peacefully and not be in pain anymore. If a very sick person who cannot get any better and the person is tired of being sick the person would rather just die in their bed surrounded by family members than living with sickness which is terrible and the negative facts about assisted suicide is that no human being should
