Our whole society depends on the development of businesses and management of these establishments. Growing up in a family of business developers and managers, I have been widely exposed to affairs concerning entrepreneurship and the skills needed in order to run an enterprise from a young age. So whilst everyone I knew dreamt of being a fashion designer or a doctor, I aspired to be a successful businesswoman who either worked at or owned a prosperous company. The idea of running a business has thrilled me for a very long time as I have seen so many people start with very little, and work their way up to the top. Through studying Spanish at GCSE and A-Level I have learnt how to communicate in a different language which I believe will be very useful in the future as more and more people nowadays speak more than one language. As for business, being bilingual will always be an advantage as in case of a deal with a Spanish company or Spanish speaking people, I will be able to converse with them and do business. Maths has helped me improve my figures manipulation and graph comprehension as well as taught me problem analysis and how to interpret information. Studying Philosophy has helped me improve my essay writing skills and develop a better time management, as well as opened my mind up and taught me how to look at one particular thing from two different points of view.
