Performing all required tasks to smooth the ALMA Science Operation and increasing the ALMA Science usage is my desire to become a Support Scientist. In summary, I will perform all required Science Operation tasks and I am willing to take the leads of several sub-tasks such as data reduction, pipeline testing, CASA testing, or science promotion.

Assuming that I am accepted for this job, I will move my family to Mitaka and start the tasks within the Science Operations team right away. My familiarity with most Science Operations tasks and my collaboration with current EA-ARC staffs and postdocs established during my two years-term in EA-ARC from September 2014 to September 2016 as EACOA Fellow will create a smooth transition in the beginning. I foresee my daily tasks to include those that I have extensive experiences during Cycle 2 and 3 observations and can start immediately in summer 2017 such as proposal preparation support, Phase 2 Generation (P2G), …show more content…

For example, I have also experiences in testing mm-waveband low-noise amplifier at Osaka Prefecture University and develop atmospheric testing system for telescope in Vietnam. My past observing skills with IRAM 30m ($>$100 hours), NRO 45m ($>$100 hours), TRAO 14m ($>$100 hours), JCMT ($>$50 hours), PdBI, SMA, and ALMA will put me in advantage position for conducting AoD or System/Science Verification as well as supporting of the operation of ASTE telescope from Mitaka or on-site. My data reduction skills can also be helpful for improving the ASTE data reduction pipeline or ASTE archive. I am especially interested in participating into developing multi-beam receivers for ASTE as I have experiences with using multi=beam heterodyne receivers such as HERA on IRAM 30m, FOREST on NRO 45m, HARP on JCMT, and SEQUOIA on TRAO
