Why do we need a school dress code? Having school uniforms can prevent violence from entering the school. This can also improve test scores and behavior. Having school uniforms can save money for parents. “They keep wealthy from showing off, prevent gang colors from entering the schools, and contribute to school spirit.”(School Uniforms). This shows that they want everyone to be equal and less violence entering the school. Having a school dress code can help students listen and learn better. The students might have a higher self-esteem because they don’t have to worry about what brand they are wearing. Maybe some students can’t buy the nice clothes that some students wear. School uniforms can help students be the same and not feel left out. This can save some kind of money for the parents. Uniforms can make the school look more respectful and better. The students wouldn’t have to worry about what they are wearing and they could focus on school work better. This can make the test scores and homework rate go up. School uniforms could prevent nearly anything that happens at school. For example, the other student can’t see what shirt the other student is wearing.
