We need more peace-loving-people to help with the selfish needs of war. There are many different reasons as to why nations may go to war. In its simplest form, nations go to war because of self greed. They have an selfish desire for something. Not all reasons of why we go to war are selfish. Sometimes its for protection. There are two sides when reasoning about objectives of war; its a desire to better the way of life and to protect the way of life. For example, in the Revolutionary War, American people fought against Great Britain because they wanted to keep their independence. This is fighting for the protection of their life. And as many say, war is the absence of peace. War is based off of human choice and free will. Reasons as to why nations might go to war differ from individuals to the nation as a whole and every reason differs between each. Humans are needy when it comes to wealth, power, and food. “Just War” theory defines war as the absence of peace.Peace can be the absence of war, but finding peace in such judgmental groups is almost impossible. Nations, also known as enemies, will never come eye to eye. They differ in various areas for example religion and race. Inequalities between humans will always exist. Equally seeing the other as the same will lead to peace. Justice and peace go hand and hand. Peace is a thirst for justice in human society and while acting and behaving with fairness and mortality will settle conflicts without the use of arms. Peace, as many say, is a state of mind. It can be seen as a behavior almost. It can entail being a union. Coming together to see everyone as one and not seeing anyone as different.
