What makes a good role model is someone who is calm, positive and confident within themselves.
Great role models are constantly challenging themselves and learning new things and understand the concept of nobody 's perfect. When they make mistakes they apologise, admit the mistake, and accept accountability while planning on how to correct it. They demonstrate commitment and don 't give up easily and persevere when confronted by obstacles. A good role model is well presented and usually respected by others for their commitment and loyalty. They have long term goals and will not give up until they achieve them.

When I am able to physically do activities to improve my knowledge that is when I find myself learning to my best ability. To take advantage of extra learning opportunities you can sign up for all programs at your job and participate in as many business activities as possible. Spend less time on your cellphone and start to notice the things that are happening around you every day. PAY MORE ATTENTION. Talk less and listen more and you will grow rapidly as an employee. Arriving to work early and staying until late at night will send a clear message that you are driven, and ready for leadership opportunities. Not Only am I a role model to my classmates,but I am also a role model to my younger family members. I show this through following the rules of where I am at during the time and teaching them the rules along the way. I am also a role model to them by not giving up on my goals and teaching them about the importance of family and how you should spend quality time with the people you love. The third and last reason I exemplify the traits of leadership is because I lead by example in the community. I show good manners like please and thank you along with opening doors and helping other people. If I see someone that is struggling to carry something or if they drop an item and need help picking it up I do not hesitate to step in and help the person in need.
