Community is not something that you can fully understand just by seeing. Community is something you feel deep inside of you and fills your heart with a desire to have relationships with others. Being apart of a group and knowing others is not enough either. You actually have to go out and spread God’s word. It says in Deuteronomy 15:11, “You shall surely open your hand for a brother, to your needy, and to the poor, in your land.” As Father McGivney Catholic High school, we “open our hands,” meaning to guide and help others together as one and lead them to the path of salvation.
