When created the United States's first five presidents were the first and foremost presidents. George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, and James Monroe were the first five presidents.Out of the first five presidents, Washington is the most important for many reasons. During Washington's presidency, he set the precedents. At the beginning washington's inauguration, he stated the words “So god help me”. After that, in every president's inauguration “So god help me” was stated at the beginning. Another precedent Washington set is that he established a cabinet to help him make decisions on what or what not to do. He also stepped down after two terms.
