Walt Disney; today one of the most recognizable and familiar brand names in both animation, and the theme park industry. “We have no obligation to make history. We have no obligation to make art. Establishing his own company and following his dreams; creating the world’s largest production house, the Walt Disney company. Today, Disney is a majorly popular cooperation and can all be traced back to the hard-working dedication of Walt himself.
Walt Disney proved his leadership qualities not only in the animation industry later in life but by showing how hard work can make dreams a reality. Determination earned him recognition, not only in America but as well as other nations. Many can say that he was one of the leaders of the American animation industry. Luckily his will to pursue that dream was strong enough and he ended up becoming a success. He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney productions, which became one of the best known motion-picture production companies in the world (biography). He first started a small company (laugh-o-grams) which fell bankrupt. With his suitcase and about twenty dollars, he headed to Hollywood to start anew (just Disney). Starting with virtually nothing, he began his ascension that eventually culminated to iconic status. Leading not only himself but his business associates from going bankrupt and alone, to arguably one of the biggest corporations in the world today, he can certainly be qualified as a leader.
