According to (Baum & Law, 1998; Wilcock, 2006) health is describes as the ability to engage in occupation. The inability to engage in occupation, whether caused by physical, mental, social, or environmental barriers, leads to problems in maintaining health and well-being of individuals. Therefore, the value and purpose of occupational therapy is to support and enhance the health and participation of people by engaging them in their desired occupations such as, self-care, work, and leisure (AOTA, 2008). According to that therapists can facilitate and assist individuals in taking control of their decisions and behaviors that impact their health and well-being (Finlayson & Edwards, 1992). 4) Workplace-related injuries become a serious problem globally. Occupational therapy role in the workplace have a significant impact on health promotion by providing injury prevention programs which include ergonomic assessment and recommendations such as, correct positioning while use the computer, safe lifting initiatives. The role of occupational therapy in the workplace will enhance the health of employees and promote well-being to have high quality of life (Franche & et al., 2004). 5) Recently, urgent health and social problems have underlined the need for taking a comprehensive approach to school-based health promotion. The goals of such comprehensive approaches are: to promote health and wellness; to prevent specific diseases and disorders ; to assist children and youth who are in need or at risk; and to support those who are already experiencing poor health.
