Vaccination, also known as immunization. Immunization plays an important role in our life because it is a medication that prepared our body to fight against microorganisms. Ever since the invention of the first smallpox vaccine has been the subject that evokes very strong opinions and usually stirs up a heated debate as to their efficacy, safety, and reliability. Most people vaccinate them self without hesitation, while another struggle with the idea of immunization. People who refuse the idea of immunization, whether is because of religious or lack of resources, many of them face negative health consequences. Vaccination is designed to protect our self from disease, but it can cause side effects. Vaccinations side effects, for the most part, are minor and go away within a few days, such as soreness, swelling, fever, rash, achiness, redness. Also, there are some vaccinations can have a serious allergic reaction. In the CDC research, they establish that every year 10 million American babies receives vaccinations. When babies are given vaccinations during the first year of life, a significant number of babies suffer from life- threatening illness. Also, they suffer from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). SIDS is the unexplained babies’ death in sleep. There for taking vaccination early age can kill babies.
Vaccinations protected infectious diseases and our immune system. Without vaccination, our body can get very ill from bacteria. Taking several vaccines do not overload the immune system, but they fight off millions of antigens- the germs that cause the body’s immune system to respond. For example, when germs, such as bacteria or viruses, invade the body different vaccination chemical attack and multiply.
