A] Scripted Series

There basic aspects of script writing for the varying forms of televison breaks down into semi-scripted series and fully scripted series.

The title page of the TV script contains show title, episode name, and the writer’s name. And TV script format divides into two columns (the 1/3; 2/3 Script). The left column contains all visual elements in the script and the right column contians all audio sounds that will be incorporated in that section. The TV script allows the reader to thnk about what the audience will be both hearing and seeing. Capital letters distinguish the audio portion of the story from the video. Describe the ways in which Transmedia concepts are different than previous types of storytelling through feature films or television.

Transmedia storytelling represents a process where integral elements of a fiction get dispersed systematically across multiple delivery channels for the purpose of creating a unified and coordinated entertainment experience ( Jenkins, 2003).

Transmedia concepts are different than previous types of storytelling, involving creating content that engages an audience using various techniques to permeate their lives. To achieve engagement, transmedia develops stories across multiple forms of media in order to deliver pieces of content via each channel. These pieces of content link together (overtly or subtly), but in narrative synchronization or porposeful a-synchronisation with/to each other ( Jenkins, 2006).

Transmedia storytelling takes integral elements of a fiction, dispersing them systematically across multiple delivery channels for the purpose of creating a unified and coordinated entertainment experience.
