The War of the Roses were a series of dynastic wars fought between supporters of two rival branches of the royal house of plantagenet,the house of Lancaster and york. This wars were fought in several sprordartic espisodes beteen 1455 and 1487. In my opinion this war was not necessary for the history of Europe because they could only had had talked and solve it in a simple way.
The War of the Roses is called The War of the Roses because the two houses are represented by two roses, the House of Lancaster is represented by a red rose and the House of York is represented by a white rose. The War of the Roses started because when Henry VI had the crown, he was ill so his cousin, Richard Plantagenet said that he would take care of England while Henry healed. The War of the Roses meant just about everything for Richard and Henry as it meant controlling England and England was a great power in the middle ages. The War of the Roses was caused because both Henry and Richard wanted to control England as in those times, the people still controlled their own space.
The houses were an important piece during The War of the Roses because Richard controlled the House of York and Henry controlled the House of Lancaster, both wanted to be the house that controlled England. There were three houses, the first is the House of Lancaster which was controlled by Henry VI, there was the House of York which was controlled by Richard Plantagenet and when the war ended, the two houses combined to create the Tudor House which was controlled by Henry Tudor.

In my opinion this could’ve been much easier if they just treated it like it should be and make an agreement.

King William's War, which occurred from between 1689 to 1697, was the first of a series of colonial conflicts between France and England for supremacy in North America. It started when King William III of England allied himself with the League of Augsburg; certain German states, Spain, Sweden, Austria, and the Netherlands,; to oppose French expansion. In America, King William¡¯s War, or otherwise called The War of the Grand Alliance or the War of the League of Augsburg, was fought between the English and its Indian allies and the French and its Indian allies. The first major conflict occurred on February 9, 1690 when the French and Indian forces from Montreal attacked and burned Schenectady, New York. The English responded by the seizure of Port Royal on May 11, 1690. However, it was recaptured a year later by the French. The city of Quebec was also attacked by English forces in their first major military operation of King William's War, but they were obstructed by the French troops. The war ceased in a stalemate and officially ended with the Treaty of Ryswick, which ended the fighting in America and Europe, and returned all colonial possessions to their prewar status.

On the 14th of May 1264, the forces of Simon de Montfort, Gloucester and the Londoners were set arrayed against the loyalist forces of King Henry III, Richard of Cornwall and Prince Edward (later to become King Edward I). The loyalists suffered a massive defeat at this Battle of Lewes and among those captured, aside from Richard of Cornwall and perhaps the King (Prestwich indicates the unsure nature of the King's capture 46), were the northern barons (Scottish lords) of Balliol, Bruce and Comyn. (Jenks 132) Prince Edward also became a hostage as part of an exchange after the battle. These same men who fought together and were held captive by the de Montforts would war against each other thirty years later. King Edward I (whom will be referred to as Edward) was not set on instigating a war against Scotland, nor were any of these Scottish lords interested in battling against such a formidable opponent as England. So why did war occur if none of these men were initially motivated for war? A series of unfortunate, but potent events led to the chrysalis of war, which was then allowed to grow and fully develop into a war by the specific actions of individuals. “Royal Beatings” begins in the imperfect tense with Rose telling us what her life was like. Her attitude and her circumstances are immediately revealed. Her mother had died when she was still a baby, and so she grew up with “only Flo for a mother.” Her father was not readily available and somewhat scared Rose. The first two with the use as a verb. During the age of exploration, the great European nations fought amongst themselves for their share of the new world. There were constant battles over the lands of the Americas and Africa. The two main religions of Europe were trying to spread its reach to new parts of the world and each had countries pushing each religion as much as they could. The Anglo-Spanish War between England and Spain during 1585-1604 is a great example of this, although it was never official declared a war. One thing that made this war quite note worthy was the Spanish Armada, a fleet of 130-armed ship versus the well-trained navy of England. It is possible the world most famous naval battle and showed the true strength of England. This is a look into the causes, the war itself and the after affects on both countries.

That was particulary so during 16th and 17th century Europe, which was the time of rule by Queen Mary Stuart of Scotland and Queen Elizabeth I. Both queens brought forth a time of political and religious change to the United Kingdom, which aided in the increase and influence of each family’s powers atop the English, Scottish and French throne.
