Abortion has been a controversial issue that goes back to about 50 years ago. Many people have different opinions on whether it should be legal to abort at any time a woman does not want her baby. Others believe a woman should not abort the fetus and that it’s considered a life and act against God. There are many opinions about this topic and its one of the biggest problems our country is facing. Let’s begin with what abortion means. Abortion in medical terms is the termination and or removal of the fetus from the womb. Many forms of procedures can be performed during the first trimester. Mifepristone and Misoprostol are commonly referred to the abortion pill. Medication can be given by the first seven to nine weeks of pregnancy. The most The Republicans want to make abortion illegal and only used when medically necessary. The Democrats want it to be a choice that the woman should go and that no one can take that right away from them. One of the pros of abortion would be that, having this choice empowers women by giving them control over their bodies. Women have been fighting for their rights to be able to dictate what they want to do with their life and have the same rights as men. Abortion allows to the woman to dictate what she can do to her body which is something they been fighting to have. One of the best reasons that are the main pro that is argued for abortion is a baby should not come into the world unwanted. Many people agree that it’s best to keep a child from coming to this world if they are going to be unwanted and not taken care of the way a child should be nurtured. Therefore, these people would prefer that the mother terminates if she never wanted to have the child in the first The moment that fertilization happens a human individual has been created therefore they have the human right to live. One of the biggest con’s that people can agree with are, that if women become pregnant, they should accept the responsibility the comes with producing the child. Many people can agree with the fact that people need to take responsibility for their actions and accept the consequences the come with their actions. People need to learn that if they know the result of their actions, then they should not go about executing them. People can agree that this is the primary cause for this entire topic and how it is still an ongoing issue. It 's not just a political issue but as well ethical problem. There have been eight deaths, 41 bombings, 173 attacks and thousands of protest outside abortion clinics.
