Margaret Sanger, a women’s rights activist and founder of Planned Parenthood said, “No woman can call herself free who does not control her own body.” All women have the right to choose to have an abortion or to keep the baby. Because there are many negative situations that may occur, the decision to abort their child is entirely up to a woman. Abortions can be useful for those teenagers or women who are rape victims, mothers who are not ready for children, and for those that fear of ruining teenage life opportunities. Legal abortions are very important and provides a lot of advantages to women who find themselves in tough situations.

Young couples who are barely starting their lives, might prefer to become financially stable first to provide better care for their future children. They have to give up everything in life has given to them just because of an unplanned pregnancy. Such as dropping out of education and by losing their loved one. Women wouldn’t want to be walking around campus with a big ol’ belly that wasn’t even planned. Especially, if it was by someone that walked out on her. She’ll feel as if it was the baby’s fault for the men walking out of her life. Men tend to leave their girlfriends/wives due to them having an unplanned pregnancy.
