Abstract: The world moves towards development rapidly. All the countries are in race of bringing development to their fellow being for better life and advancement in life. The mass is moving towards achieving better life perspectives. Many thinkers have given their views on development but the bench mark of keeping the development along with preserving the nature and respecting human beings. The present paper focuses on the environmental, economic and social aspect of development along with keeping in mind the sustainable development and sustainable development goals. The impact of present development to the future generation will depict and will suggest the ways to sustainable economic development. The paper will also access the impact of global change, climate change on sustainable development. The Agenda also identifies, in its paragraph 14, climate change as “one of the greatest challenges of our time” and worries about “its adverse impacts undermine the ability of all countries to achieve sustainable development. Increases in global temperature, sea level rise, ocean acidification and other climate change impacts are seriously affecting coastal areas and low-lying coastal countries, including many least developed countries and Small Island developing States.
