Recommended: The hunger games literary analysis

The movie that I decided to do is The Hunger Games . Science fiction is a genre that deals with futuristic science and can deal with imaginative things. I believe that this movie is Science fiction because it happens in the future. It also has new technology and advancement. It takes place in Panem, the future name of North America. Therefore, The Hunger Games Series are science fiction genre movies.

The Hunger Games happens in the future. This movie took place approximately hundreds of years from now. You can tell it is in the future because of the new country name and way different population and way of life. The lifestyle is way different, as in worse and cruel. The population decreased tremendously because of the very bad waste of space in this time period. This tells the difference in this make believe futue than now.

It also has new technology and advancement in this science fiction movie. In this movie the author creates hovercrafts, or airplanes that come to pick up dead bodies in the arena . The weapons in these series were invented by the author and more deadly than the weapons today. Some were used in cruel ways such as, poisoning slowly and painfully. An arena …show more content…

This is survival because Katness has to survive from 23 other people trying to kill her in an arena while at the same time, worrying about her family’s survival. Another example of survival is providing for her family by hunting and trading goods for the supply of food. Other themes are courage, sacriface, and love. Courage because when Katniss had to face her worst enemies during the Games and she knew she would have to face her death but she was very determined and brave about. Sacrifice because she put her life on the line for Prim, her little sister and Rue. Also Peeta in the beginning of the Games. Love because she has to choose between two love interests , Peeta and Gale. She loves these two people very much but has a hard time
