People may argue on whether you step in when you see bad parenting, which is an excellent idea. Others may agree that you should let the parent be parent, regardless of if their doing a good job or not. We always see videos on social media or parent disciplining their children too harshly, abusing them, or more horrifying and disgustingly children being molested. Sometimes things may not be as bad as this, but under the circumstances someone should be able to step in and take action. I have three real life situations in which I feel like someone should step in and take action. I think in my sister’s situation, my mom’s situation, and my aunt situation someone should step in. Before they met she already had a daughter named Laila. She went off to travel and do music for a while, so Laila became attached to me. They have since had two children of their own named Meranda and Dayjah, so my aunt has three girls. Whenever I get a chance I keep them for as long as I can. When my aunt’s husband decides to abuse her, her mistreats Laila too. He put them out one winter with no coat or shoes, and threw all of their things outside. He let his two girls stay inside. She has called me in many cases of similar situations, or when they need money for food and gas. I always help her out. He once hit my aunt in front of his grandma and his grandma hit my aunt too. He mistreats Laila because she isn’t his child. Her husband barley refers to her as his daughter, but she recognizes him as her dad. He makes my aunt keep her away from her real dad. He doesn’t want her to call her real father, daddy. My aunt is okay with that. It is something very wrong with that and there should definably be someone to step in on all accounts of these bad parenting
