People may argue on whether you step in when you see bad parenting, which is an excellent idea. Others may agree that you should let the parent be parent, regardless of if their doing a good job or not. We always see videos on social media or parent disciplining their children too harshly, abusing them, or more horrifying and disgustingly children being molested. Sometimes things may not be as bad as this, but under the circumstances someone should be able to step in and take action. I have three real life situations in which I feel like someone should step in and take action. I think in my sister’s situation, my mom’s situation, and my aunt situation someone should step in. Before they met she already had a daughter named Laila. She went off to travel and do music for a while, so Laila became attached to me. They have since had two children of their own named Meranda and Dayjah, so my aunt has three girls. Whenever I get a chance I keep them for as long as I can. When my aunt’s husband decides to abuse her, her mistreats Laila too. He put them out one winter with no coat or shoes, and threw all of their things outside. He let his two girls stay inside. She has called me in many cases of similar situations, or when they need money for food and gas. I always help her out. He once hit my aunt in front of his grandma and his grandma hit my aunt too. He mistreats Laila because she isn’t his child. Her husband barley refers to her as his daughter, but she recognizes him as her dad. He makes my aunt keep her away from her real dad. He doesn’t want her to call her real father, daddy. My aunt is okay with that. It is something very wrong with that and there should definably be someone to step in on all accounts of these bad parenting
Some parents in the world do not discipline their children and do not care what the children. All they care about are them selves. At that point the social workers take the child and put them in foster homes with complete and total strangers. Some companies just put kids with people who do not care about the children just what they get paid. They just let the children go off and do what they want and do not supervise the children’s activities. The social workers should do more thoroughly background checks. There should also be more supervision in foster homes instead of little supervision, and the workers should visit the home and the children more often than they actually do.
There’s a high rate of homelessness among the children who was been in the foster care but age out. Many children are going to the foster care because of many tragedies they already had before they even understand what is life all about. Fortunately, for them, there are some people who try to help them out and give them a second shot at life. When Amy Chua, a professor at Yale, wrote her personal memoir in 2011 called Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, controversy arose regarding the topic of an extreme parenting type called a “Tiger Mom” (Tiger Mom). When The Wall Street Journal posted an excerpt from Chua’s book on their website, it received over 7,000 comments both positive and negative including death threats (Extreme Parenting). In her book, Chua describes is forcing her 7-year old daughter to stay up all night without bathroom or drink breaks until she was able to play a certain piano piece (Extreme Parenting). Her daughter rebels, drops violin, and takes up tennis (Luscombe). Extreme parents exert great pressure on their child to meet expectations, and if they are not met, the child may be punished (Hatter). The MacMillan Dictionary defines a tiger mom as “a very strict mother who makes her children work particularly hard and restricts their free time so they continually achieve the highest grades,” (Tiger Mother).
Jennings Burch, a child constantly in and out of foster care must worry about if he’ll go back to a home. Jennings mother is very sick and cannot take care of her children, so she sends them to foster families. She continues to get better then worse, so the children are constantly at home or with a foster family. Jennings constantly wonders if he will go back to foster care, if the home or family, he will be in be nice, if they will have the necessities that he needs, if anyone will come for him. Jennings is one child in foster care, there are about 402, 378 children in foster care who are probably asking themselves the same questions. Even though most people don’t know, there are children and adults all around us that have been in the foster care program. More than half a million of today's youth are currently in foster care. The foster care program is for children that are taken away from their families due to unsafe living conditions and are placed with a temporary family until they are either placed back with their families or adopted. Many foster children are bounced around from home to home and never stay in one place for very long and this at times causes there to be behavioral problems with the said child. Foster care has been a major part of my life growing up. Although I am not a foster child, nor was I in the past, my family and I were a foster family, along with all three of my aunts. My aunts have homed over one hundred foster children, and have even adopted some along the way. My family and I have had two foster boys who have both been adopted and now have the family they deserve to have.
Foster Children who are emancipated out of foster care are in danger of becoming homeless because Foster Homes are allowing many unfit parents to adopt, they are emancipated before they can find a job that can support them, and they are not being taught the skills to avoid homelessness.

Many individuals are taking the process of process of parental licensing into their own hands, despite their contributions being made up in mind only, however, it is thought that counts. One respective person believes that a restriction on having children should begin at the earliest stage of one’s life: birth. As soon as a child is born, doctors should “go in and turn off their spickets” (McRedmond). In the later stages of life, this would prevent several cases of teen pregnancies, seeing as though it would be an impossibility for women to get pregnant.
