The brain, is one of the most vital organ inside any human body that is required, in order to perform any functions for life. The brain is the commander in notifying the human body what to remember, listen, where to move, and other various roles. However, the brain contains other individual parts that form the brain in order to perform these individual tasks. The individual parts is what the brain requires in order to perform any processes. The society of neuroscience in an article states, “The cerebrum, the largest part of the human brain, is associated with higher order functioning, including the control of voluntary behavior. Thinking, perceiving, planning, and understanding language all lie within the cerebrum control.” The cerebrum is …show more content…

The three actions as stated associated with either the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, or the occipital lobe. The occipital lobe associates with visual processing, while the temporal lobe associated with auditory processing. The frontal lobe is similar to the cerebrum as it associates with problem solving, planning, and thinking. Lastly but not least is the parietal lobe which deals with interpreting sensory information. The four lobes is located around each other across the brain. All four lobes can be employed to help us learn material provided by teachers or professors. In the article about How the Brain Learns it mentions, “Neuroscientists have long believed that learning and memory formation are made by the strengthening and weakening of connections among brain cells.” More often than not, humans create connections to numerous of ideas, in order to remember it for a test or even for the long run. Connections can include symbols inside a classroom or a random object as well. For example, whenever we hear an obnoxious acronym, such as, “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally” or “PEMDAS” which is applied to help remember the orders of operation, we are able to remember it because we are forming connections. The four lobes are similar to that of the cerebrum and that it is important for humans to have it, in order to perform all of the roles required for day to day …show more content…

Both of which are located towards the bottom part of the brain. The brainstem connects the cerebrum to the spinal cord. The brainstem control the flow of messages between the brain and the rest of the body. Without the brainstem, the human would not be able to receive any information from the brain in order to perform any kind of functions. Comparatively speaking, if a toy car that runs on batteries, does not have any batteries, then the car would not be able to operate. In the article about Brain Structures and Functions the articles states, “scientists say that this is the "simplest" part of human brains because animals' entire brains, such as reptiles (who appear early on the evolutionary scale) resemble our brainstem.” The statement is about how the brainstem is the basic part of the brain, and this is a result of it being responsible for heartbeat, breathing, and blood pressure”The cerebellum associates with movement and coordination. In other words, this is how humans are able to move around with accuracy and precision. Both are essential just like the rest of the parts in the brain because without any of them we would not be able to perform the same roles as we would normally
