The Alchemists What The Alchemists is trying to tell us (the reader) is you should always follow your dream’s. It started with a boy who wanted to travel.In conclusion, he became a shepherd he assumed this job would allow him to travel as much as he wanted. One year the boy meet a merchant;in addition, the merchant also had a daughter which the boy thought was very attractive. The merchant told the boy to come back in a year. A year passed, and the shepherd was 4 days away from the town where the merchant and his daughter lived. On his way to the town he rested a night he had a dream, he saw a boy who took him to the Pyramids of Egypt then the little boy pointed to the pyramids. When, he woke up, he once again

He remembered there was gypse who could help him figure out his dream. The gypsy told him that he would find a treasure in the pyramids. He thought she was crazy. Then, he meet an old man, who has never meet before. He told him what gypsy had told him that he would find a treasure in the pyramids. The old man told him it was his personal legend. He gave him two stones urim and thummim. The old man told him to use them so that it could tell if it was an omen or not, but in exchange he would have to give him 6 of his sheep. The boy took off on his journey to find his own personal legend. He meet a boy in Spain who stole most of his money. He meet a merchant who sold stones he worked there for a year in order to save money for his trip to egypt. When he left he was devastated that he left. But he committed to find the treasure. He then meet an Englishman who was also pursuing his personal legend. They both journey together and meet a camel driver. Which helped them get to an oasis which the chiefest let them settle there as long as they desired. The englishmen thought that he could meet the alchemists and tell him what is his personal legend. The englishman went to the wich doctor and he told him,”That he should do what he has done many times”. The boy meet another

The boy went to a pile of rocks and looked to the sky and saw two hawks. Then he saw a vision that a group tribesmen would attack the oasis, so he warned the council. The next day a group tribesmen came and attacked the oasis. The council gave him their gratitude and gave him gold and made him part of the council. That night on a horse came up to him but little did he know that it was the real alchemist himself. He told the boy that he would not be happy if he doesn't pursue his personal legend. So the next day went on their horse’s for almost month and came upon the tribesmen camp. They took their stuff and in order to survive he had to turn himself to the wind. The had come and he had to turn himself into the wind he speaking to all of the things on the earth including the sun. A big gust of wind came and took down their tents the tribesmen were frightened the chief was amazed to see an act of god. But if it weren't for his love his love for the girl at the oasis he would have never became the wind and he would've died. He gave him a group to help them on there journey.
