God is commonly viewed as the supernatural creator and overseer of the universe. He is conceived as being an incorporeal source of all moral obligations. Practically all Scripture references to some experience of His supernatural phenomenon. Of course, the Bible is no exception to these experiences. The role in the history and creation of the world in the Bible conceives God as being a supernatural deity separate from the “natural creation”. Overall, the supernatural phenomena in the Bible are the actions taken by God as He tries to influence the history and determine the fate of His creation. It is through a careful study of this phenomenon that one can discover the Bible’s concepts about the nature of our supernatural deity. Upon comparing this supernatural phenomenon, it becomes clear that a remarkable progressive shift in the nature of the biblical God and his relationship with humanity. It is this evolution of the biblical God—or more accurately, the concept of God—that results in the changing role of the supernatural in the Bible. But does everyone understand the term "supernatural"? To better define it, the word “supernatural” simply means “above the natural”. Science covers that what is physical. If something is physical, it can be measured and mathematically described. If one was to say that “supernatural” is what is unexplained, then of course God is supernatural. That certainly applies to God. He, of course, is neither physical, nor measurable, nor mathematically describable—placing Him outside the realm of scientific study. We will argue this view by exploring Naturalism vs. Supernaturalism, the visions from God, and the power of the Holy Ghost within Christians.

Evolution, along with the “Big Bang” theory, has a supernatural and underlying assumption—an assumption that a supernatural God who would have set off the "Big Bang". This leads to only a supernatural power could have created the original matter that was the source of the "Big Bang" and kicked-off life as we know it. God offers an explanation for the natural and supernatural which man-made doctrines do not account for. Moreover, Jesus showed those the power of the supernatural through miracles and His physical body's defeat over death resurrection. "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).”
