In today's society, there is a lot of social and global problems. As this generation is surrounded by social media and technology, we tend to ignore the outside world. This is where street artists step in and make the world around us an even more beautiful place to look at. They use the streets and buildings as their social media pages and show how the world can be something good and not focus on the bad. Even though these upcoming artists are sharing their art to make the streets a more enjoyable place, they still get arrested for spreading the joy.

He started off with his street art in the 1990s. Banksy started with admittedly atypical graffiti and then changed to stencils in the 2000s. From a few words to full on murals on building walls, Banksy has pushed the limits of his art. This started Banksy off in a good direction and benefited him in so many ways. Since then, Banksy has inspired many people and has set a path for many upcoming street artist. He has set the standards for street art and opened a new world to artists who want to spread their creations. Street art breaks the status quo of how art should be. From murals to statues, street art is the true meaning of art. The artists have the chance to paint and show how they see the world and to share the beauty they see. Street art is for the public not a certain group of people.
