The process flow of Starship Childcare Hospital starts when the child arrives at our hospital. His or her parents will then be interviewed, if the patient is an old patient the receptionist will then retrieve the file for reference and if the child is new they will be asked to fill out some forms and registration will be done. After, child will then be check by General Practitioner (GP) he will be assessed thoroughly by the doctor for any signs of ailment and once doctor suspects for abnormalities he will then order for specific diagnostic examinations such as blood testing (Complete Blood Count), Chest X-Ray for a suspected lung infection, Urine analysis and stool examinations, and in some cases GP might order ultrasound, CT Scans or MRI. After completion, GP will then decide if the child is to be admitted or can go home. If child is good to go home they will then go to cashier for Out Patient fees and to the pharmacy, and home medications instructions will be given for the home treatment and will be advice for follow up check -up. If the child is for hospitalisation the child will then be monitored and lab tests will be re-evaluated, treated and once recovered the child will then be discharge, home treatment will be instructed, they will also be ask to give a feedback and will have a follow up check-up after
