For many years, students should take standardized tests in elementary and secondary schools for measurement of their performance. By preparing tests, students learn and study subjects like History, Art, Science, and Society in the school. National standardized tests are a economical assessment system having many students in order, the result can be used for entrance of college. However, in the middle of this process, nationwide standardized tests throughout elementary and secondary school have a negative influence on education both for students and school for the following reasons.

Firstly, standardized tests is an obstacle to students when they develop their ability and find their aptitude trough education. According to Multiple Intelligence theory by Howard Gardener, "individuals differ in the strength of their intelligences.“ He argues that there are 7 types of intelligences: visual-spatial, logical-mathematical, bodily- kinestic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, linguistic intelligences. Likewise, although students have inherent talented intelligence, they have no time to focus on their special ability since they are trained to have a better score at the test. Schools have pursued different values based on school precepts since it was founded. According to those values, schools have their own curriculum that teachers and students follow. For example, Christian schools emphasize education based on Christian values so that they have more religious classes and services than other public elementary and secondary schools, However, these schools lost the opportunity to choose the curriculum based on their values to look for the curriculum that students can have a perfect score in the standardized tests. The curriculum mostly consists of subjects to be tested like Math and Science but subjects like Art and Music are rarely found because they are not on the
