Nowadays the Islam is one of the major religions in the world. It al started with Muhammad around 622 AD. He was was born in 570 Ce in arabian city Mekka. He was worked as a merchant and travelled with a trade caravan around the middle-east. At the age of 40 he got a vision from the an angel Gabriel who told him there is only one god called Allah. He got the command to spread this among the people. But how did one person created such a big empire in less than 200 years? In the 200 years the Muslims conquered a region that reaches the far inland of currently spain to constantinoble. What are the main factors of fast spreading religion between 634 to 800

In the eyes of the Muslim society the Jews and Christans believed in the same god as the Muslims itself. The Islamic followers didn’t forces people to believe in there religion. The only thing they have to do is to pay a special kind of tax. Most Jews in the Middle-East and Spain where greatly oppressed by rulers in the region. The Jews therefore let the Muslims easy take over the areas without resisting and offered no assistance to local leaders when Muslims attacked . They even supported the Muslims and were pleased that the Muslims conquered the region. Also a part of the eastern monetistic Christians in the Byzantine empire, offered the Muslims a helping hand. They have long been severely disadvantaged by the Western Byzantine Christians and were rather controlled by the tolerant Muslims than the discriminating rich Christians of the west,.
