Inspired to write as an adolescent and influence as by the creative visuals of Social Media, I have found myself interested in building a successful career in communications and interactive media. When I discovered Quinnipiac University, reviewed the different programs the university has to offer. The program that particularly drawn interest to me was Masters of Science in Interactive Media. Within the program I would like to choose a custom concentration because there many courses that I feel that would be beneficial towards advancement in my career. For example, Social Media, SEO, and Web Analytics and Designing for the User are just a two courses that I would be interested in taking wow attending Quinnipiac University. With all of the options that I am able to explore within this program, I know that I will be able to utilize those learn skills with my future goals I have set for my career advancement.
Once I obtain my master’s degree in Interactive media I plan to further my career as a DOD (Department of Defense) with in the health communications sector because I would be able to assist the soldiers and their families that are transitioning into new locations across the globe. I would use the skills I have developed attending graduates school to produce a non-profit organization.     Short term, I want to work in a medical facility, preferably a hospital or small clinic, in an administrative and/or clerical position. I would like to do this to gain experience on my resume since I have never worked in a medical field job before.
