I live in a neighborhood with an equal distribution of both black and white households. Almost everyday, I see a police officer patrolling through my neighborhood, slowing down in front of the same houses every time. It just so happens that black individuals live in these homes. There have been countless times where I have observed a squad car sitting outside of the same house. Their car lights are never on, and the officers rarely get out of their squad cars.
