Many people know the famous shoe brands Puma and Adidas, but they do not know the rivalry that took place between the two brothers who created the stores. The rivalry that took place has some similarities to the famous play “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” like the separation of the town, only serving certain people, fighting between families, and misunderstandings of plans, people and words. The rivalry between the Dasser brothers tore the small town of Herzogenaurach, Germany apart, but created two of the most famous and successful shoe brands in the world. This paper will outline the conflict between the Dasser brothers and how it connects to the famous play “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.” Adolf and Rudolf’s father was Christoph Von Wilhelm Dassler. Adolf and Rudolf’s mother was Pauline Dasser. Christoph worked in shoe factory when the brother were young probably exciting their interest into the shoe industry. The brothers mom Pauline ran a small laundry store in the town of Herzogenauch, Germany. Rudolf worked with his dad at the shoe factory after school during his childhood and adolescence years. Children are lying to their parents, they are sneaking out at night to be with a boy that is “the one”, children are going back into the age of Shakespeare. In the play “Romeo and Juliet” which was written by William Shakespeare in 1597, there are two teenagers, Romeo and Juliet, who fall in love with each other. These two teenagers try to do everything that they can to live the rest of their lives together, except their families despise each other, so there is no way that they can live the rest of their lives together. So, many people believe that the way that our children are growing up today is taking away the fun parts of their childhood. However in this play Juliet did many of the things that teenagers are trying to do now. Children and sometimes adults now need to realize how your actions not only affect you but also the people around you, you also need to think about the consequences of the actions you make. At first Juliet falls in love at first sight with Romeo, then she takes a potion, which causes her family to think she is dead, and then how Friar Lawrence helps Juliet with the scheming, which shows how adults have to think about others as well.
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Austria-Hungary, he was the fourth of six children. After his father retired the family was moved to Linz, Austria. Adolf was good in school up until he reached high school. His father Alois was not pleased with the way Adolf preformed in school and always had wanted Adolf to become a civil servant and pressured him to do so. However, he had always had a passion for art and when his father died in 1903, he dropped out of high school and spent his days drawing, reading, and daydreaming. At the age of 20, Hitler decided to move to Vienna in hopes of pursuing his dream of becoming an artist. He applied to two different art schools, and unfortunately was denied from both. Shortly after being denied his mother passed away from cancer. This had huge impacts on his life. He later wrote, “The death of my mother put a sudden end to all my high-flown plans. It was a dreadful blow, particularly for me. I had honored my father, but my mother I had loved. “

His father was Joseph Gebhard Himmler, a secondary-school teacher and principal, and his mother was Anna Maria Himmler, a devout Roman Catholic and attentive mother. Heinrich had one older brother, Gebhard Ludwig Himmler, and one younger brother, Ernst Hermann Himmler. Himmler’s childhood was quite normal for the time. His father and mother were strict but were actively involved in the rearing of their three children. Growing up Himmler struggled in athletics, but did well in his schoolwork. He enjoyed playing chess, harpsichord, stamp collecting, gardening, and other extracurricular activities. From 1919 to 1922 Himmler studied agronomy and had an apprenticeship on a farm (Heinrich Himmler).
In 1919 to 1920 after the war he decided to join Thule Society. Which is a group of Germans whose main concern was the original Aryan race. Ian Kershaw Hitler's biography stated that The Thule Society membership is like a Who’s Who’s of early Nazi sympathizers. This group was so strongly believed in the belief of pure bloodlines anyone wanting to join the group would make a blood oath of faith with a contract that states “The signer hereby swears to the best of his knowledge and belief that no Jewish or coloured blood flows in either his or in his wife's veins, and that among their ancestors are no members of the coloured races." He was also a member of the Freikorps which a militia of sorts.
Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, is a tragic love story about two young lovers who are forced to be estranged as a result of their feuding families. The play is about their struggle to contravene fate and create a future together. As such, it was only a matter of time before Hollywood would try and emulate Shakespeare’s masterpiece. This had been done before in many films. Prominent among them were, Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 “Romeo and Juliet” and Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 “William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.” Both films stay true to the themes of Shakespeare’s original play. However, the modernised Luhrmann film not only maintains the essence of Shakespeare’s writings, Luhrmann makes it relevant to a teenage audience. This is done through the renewal of props and costumes, the reconstruction of the prologue and the upgrading of the setting, whilst preserving the original Shakespearean language. Out of the two, it is Luhrmann who targets Romeo & Juliet to a younger audience to a much larger extent than Zeffirelli.
