When the English came to America they brought many bright ideas that would later affect the colonies.There were also different types of religions that impacted all the colonies such as puritanism, Lutheran's, Catholics Etc. Religion had an important role in establishing the colonies, however different areas of the colonies were affected differently. Religion was differ in each of the following places the England , middle, and the southern colonies.
The New England colony was very big on religion.They were made up of Puritans and they were pretty strict which might be one reason that everyone was really religious because they were told to be. The Puritans were one of the first people in New England and they dominated New England.There were other groups of religion but none as big as the Puritans. The Puritans dominated because they were very strict unlike the other groups. They were really big on family So the only thing that was as important as religion was basically your family. They were made up of Baptists, and Anglicans, Catholics Etc. Everybody that lived in Virginia was Forced to worship the Anglican Church. For North Korea they also worshipped the Anglican religion but not as strict as Virginia. In South Carolina they had a variety of beliefs so not everyone practiced the same religion. Maryland was founded by the Catholics and they were very open in their beliefs as well. Finally Georgia was very diverse when it came 2 religion they didn't all practice the same one.but they But they were mostly focused on farming because unlike the middle colonies they did have slaves so they made them do all their farming work.Before they got the slaves their colony was just a buffer zone for the British. They also had extremely good weather which made it extremely easy for them to grow crops and made them focus more on
