Reflective Essay Content covered 1. In my presentation, two sections were covered, namely “Ancillary Community Benefits” and “Wrongs Remedied by Other Means”. Most of the points in the article were included with some elaborations. Due to the time constraint of pecha kucha, it was impossible to include all the points so prioritisation of points comes into play. There was room for improvement regarding the choice of what to be included in the presentation as some relevant points were missing in the presentation such as the point about the concurrent liabilities in contract and tort. Proper English was used throughout the presentation without any slangs. The English used was also mostly appropriate with only incidental grammatical mistakes. Fluent English was spoken in the presentation generally. Body language 5. There were occasionally some hand gestures throughout the presentation but were very limited. It would be better if I did not hand the papers so my hands would be free to move more naturally. Making better use of the hands to point at the images on the Powerpoint slides could also keep the audience focused on what I was presenting. Voice and intonation 6. My voice was quite soft so it was more difficult for the audience to follow what I was presenting as better attention was needed when my voice was not loud enough. There was a lack of intonation and my tone was quite flat, the presentation hence became less interesting. Things observed while watching myself on film 7. Before watching myself on film, I actually did not notice that it was quite awkward to look at the computer screen, the printed script and the projector screen so often. The eyes kept rolling to different directions could be quite distracting to the audience. When I was nervous, I tended to look at different spots, it was something that I did not notice before. The presentation style of pecha kucha was a very unique and challenging one for me. In this type of presentation, I only had 20 seconds to talk about the content covered in each of the 20 slides. In most presentations, even if there was a time limitation, it would be an overall time limit. The first challenge was to divide all the things that I had to cover into exactly 20 slides and each slide has to cover similar amount of content. Usually in my presentation, the introduction slide and the conclusion slide will be shorter than the main body, yet in pecha kucha presentation, the first slide should be equally long as the rest of the slides, so I chose to state the main point right at the beginning and also to mention the flow of my presentation. Another challenge was that I did not know how much time I had used in presenting on each slides so I had to practise for many times in order to know how fast or slow I should speak in each slide and to ensure that the presentation would be
