Few issues attract more public attention and generate more public debate than those involving crime. Whether you read or watch the news, a story about crime is to be found in there somewhere. It’s something that is part of our everyday lives and unfortunately an everyday occurrence for many people living in our society.

The way crime is studied, how the world reacts to it and it’s prevention are all aspects that have interested me from an early age.The reasons for criminal behaviour is varied and intriguing, and this is an area that I am desperate to learn more about, because in the future I would like to work with young offenders or something that ties into that type of career pathway .
