I. Introduction Nowadays, Immigration, which is a phenomenon of migration, is very normal and popular in the world. Furthermore, in the world, many countries have the large number of people who immigrate because of many reasons likes finding suitable jobs or new place to live. Many people think that immigrants will give them many problems about the economy and society. However, other people think that immigrants bring many profits for their countries. In my opinion, I think that all things have both good and bad sides and immigration is no exception. In the other hand, I think that immigrations will give the host countries more economic benefits than limitations. II. Mean of immigrants First of all, I want to explain what the immigrants are. By “Immigration Assist” website, Immigrants are people who have citizenship in one country; however, they go to another country to establish a permanent residence. III. Pros of immigration In addition, the Immigration brings many profits to the host country. Firstly, immigrants supply to the host country a large amount of tax money. For example, I read in the “Ca Mau” newspaper, in the United Kingdom, the government research showed that the tax money that immigrants paid $ 4 billion higher than the amount of benefits intended to them. Moreover, in the United State, the National Research Council estimates that national income rose 8 billion in a year by immigrants. Secondly, remittances which from immigrant workers also bring significant benefits to many countries. The UN report said the total amount of money that immigrant workers worldwide sent back to their country in 2011 was more than $ 300 billion (increased several times compared with $ 102 million in 1995). Moreover slums are also the source of all kinds of social evils such as drugs and prostitution because of the lowest security. V. Solution On the other hand, we have many solutions to reduce the bad side of immigration. The government should set up some laws to control the number of immigrants in their countries. Moreover, they need to put some strong penalties to prevent the undocumented immigrations. Furthermore, they should to strictly manage the slums in their countries to reduce the social evils. VI. Conclusion On the whole, I think that immigrations bring many benefits for the host countries, so they should not prohibit or decrease the number of people who want to immigrate to their countries. On the other hand, the government of these countries should to have the better laws to control immigration.
