Getting a driver’s license is one of the most monumental moments in a teenager’s life. When I turned 16, I was so excited to be able to get my permit. But unlike any other teen, I put off getting my permit until long after I was eligible in fear that I wouldn’t pass my permit test. Of course, this was a ridiculous thing for me to let get in my way of getting my permit, but I let it anyways. After six months of torturing myself with the thought of “what if I fail the permit test?”, I went to the DMV and passed my permit test on the first try.
