Back in my teenage days, I was once told by my teacher saying that “I believe no one can teach you how to act, but schools do give you an environment to make mistakes, to learn techniques and to learn professionalism”. Looking back at those words really gave me the inspiration to become a professional teacher in the kindergarten to teach, to learn new things, gaining new experiences and knowledge as well as being a professional. Although, there are few challenges that I have been struggled but those words make me works harder every day to make a big achievement and to show that I am able to achieve it. When it is coming to define the term of “Professionalism” it has specific needs of every discipline. Hence, most of these definitions agreed that professional demonstrates behavior that show the knowledge and the skills of the profession. Regardless the lack of a professionalism definition, it is a consistent in the prose that are expected to have specific knowledge which they can utilize to make judgements, specialized training, characters that are unique in the field and the standards that are answerable. Though, teacher professionalism responsibilities it is important to everyone. They said when you show positive side, children may show happiness every day. To become a professional teacher, we must also control our emotions so that it wouldn’t spread negativity thoughts towards to children. Mentoring children also plays an important role to teacher. Mentoring is a way that can encourage children to strive to be the best they can. Thus, it also encourages children to enjoy learning and to build their confidence and helps to be a successful one by taking step by step.
