Finally I am ready to be an Early Childhood Educator and just waiting to implement all my learning into my profession. I have passed a long two years of journey to be an Early Childhood Educator and gained knowledge about children’s holistic development, process of their physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and language development. I know how to ensure safety for children. I concern about each and individual child’s health and well being and work collaboratively with my co worker to ensure this. Also in these two years of course, I have learned all guidance strategies that can regulates children’s social and emotional behaviours. All through my placement, I worked with infants to school age children and applied all these guidance strategies and practice over and over. I know different formal and informal observation techniques, and through this observation, I find out children’s developmental stage, their cues, their needs and even child with special needs. I can able to implement planed and spontaneous activities based on children’s interest. Also I am able to give children the inquiry based learning opportunities to investigate. I know the project approach, and agreed that projects provide the backbone of the children’s and teacher’s learning experiences. I influenced by Lev Vygotsky’s “Social Developmental Theory”. He believes that, we learn through our interactions and communications that we have with our peers, teachers, and other experts. Also I influenced by Piaget’s “Stage Theory of Cognitive Development” and Bandura's “Social Learning Theory” that says children learn from one another through imitation, observation and modeling. Also I studied Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory and understand children’s uniqueness. All these theories influenced and helped me to understand their developmental stage and
