When people think of police brutality they often think of race.A problem that needs to be solved is police brutality, which is misconduct that involves undue violence by police members(Encyclopedia). Police brutality has affected the African American community in many ways, by killing black men,women,and it has also pushed African Americans to stand for what they believe in.Many People fear the police because of the many violent crimes that they are committing. Racial tensions have been growing between African Americans and white law enforcers.They are not just affecting African Americans but they are affecting African Americans more than any other race. It started from a social media hashtag in 2013 due to the many deaths of unarmed blacks. According to the Black Lives Matter website ,the movements are campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.Many races also participate in the movement because they agree that there has been a countless number of unnecessary murders because of the police.They also use the phrase “hands up don't shoot” to commemorate a victim's last words. African Americans stand up for what they believe in when justice needs to be served. On the other hand,people say that police should use violence and shoot black people. This point of view makes sense because their lives can be in danger. However it may be true that police officers should try to refrain from using violence because they are suppose to be humane people, but they are still human ,they have feelings and fears.No one knows how hard their job is,they have to put up with people who do not follow the rules and it is
